The Feagle information was submitted by Margaret Sease Jayroe.

They were given to her by Clair Marguerite Wheeler Blair.

They had been removed from the Bible, but had been in the possession of her mother, Louisa Loretta Rachel, daughter of George and Ann Margaret Feagle, and wife of Jacob I. Wheeler.

"The following information was copied from original entries in an old promissory note book of Willam M. Feagle. To conserve space I have used numerals for dates instead of copying verbatim."

William Feagle and Margaret, his wife, was married February 4,1830.

Margaret, his wife, was born September 18, 1809.

William Feagle was born in 1806,

His wife departed this life August 27,1842.

Laurence Clabern Feagle was born August 5,1833, the first child of Margaret Feagle.

Jemima Jane Antoinett Feagle was born July 26,1840, the second child of Magaret Feagle.

William Joseph Feagle was born August 13,1842, the third child of Margaret Feagle.

William Feagle and Elizabeth, his wife, was married September 16,1843.

Elizabeth, his wife, was born January 12,1825.

William Feagle was born May 16,1806.

Mark Hawkins Feagle was born August 26,1844, first born child of Elizabeth Feagle.

Hezekiah Feagle was born December 6,1845, second born child of Elizabeth Feagle

Margaret Feagle was born September 17,1848, third born child of Elizabeth Feagle.

Sarah Caroline Feagle was born December 17,1848, fourth born child of Elizabeth Feagle

Rebecca Feagle was born March 8,1853, fifth born child of Elizabeth Feagle.

Shelton Feagle was born July 15,1855, sixth born child of Elizabeth Feagle

Lenorah Feagle was born December 5,1857, seventh born child of Elizabeth Feagle.

Isabella Feagle was born February 15,1860, Elizabeth Feagle's eighth born child.

Also included in the ledger were these two entries, with the notation they were sons of Appleton Feagle.

William Barnet Feagle was born March 19,1891.

Joseph Marvin Feagle was born November 21,1887.

George Feagle was born May the 3,1815.

Ann Margaret Feagle was born March 1,1812.

Elizabeth Martha, first daughter of George and Ann Feagle was born March 30,1836.

Sarah Ann Catherine, second daughter was born July 13,1838.

Susannah Josephine, third daughter of George and Ann Margaret Feagle was born September 18,

1840.

Mary Jane, the fourth daughter of George and Ann M. Feagle, was born January 12,1845.

John Nicholas, first son of George and Ann M. Feagle, was born February 27,1847.

Warren Madison, second son of George and Ann M. Feagle, was born November 22,1849.

Lawrence Irving, third son of George and Ann M. Feagle, was born November 16,1851.

Louisa Loretta Rachel, the sixth daughter of George and Ann M. Feagle, was born February 27, 1854.

Blanch Lulu, first daughter of Jacob I. and Lorie R. Wheeler, was born August 17,1873 and died June 21,1874.

Frances Iola, second daughter of Jacob I. and Lorie R. Wheeler, was born September 3,1875.

Catherine Jeanette, third daughter of Jacob I. and Lorie R. Wheeler, was born April 20,1878

Bennie Arline, fourth daughter of Jacob I. and Lorie R. Wheeler, was born August 2,1880.

Claude Reginald, first son of Jacob I and Lorie R. Wheeler, was born August 26,1882.

Roland Eugene, second son of Jacob I. and Lorie R. Wheeler, was born February 27,1885.

Claire Marguerite, fifth daughter of Jacob I. and Lorie R. Wheeler, was born October 14,1887.

George Feagle died in prison at Point Lookout, Maryland, July 27,1864.

Ann Margaret Feagle died on June 1,1878.

S. J. Whites nee Feagle, died July 1.1899.

Martha Elizabeth Kohn died in Columbia, SC., February 25,1902, buried at Prosperity the 26th

Mary Jane Bobb died January 18,1908 at Prosperity.

Maria Bobb died January 23,1909 at Prosperity.

Frances Iola, wife of H. S. Cannon, died May 2,1910. buried at Columbia, SC May 3

Claude R. Wheeler died May 12,1927, buried May 13,1927

Jacob I. Wheeler died March 21,1932, buried March 22,1932 at Columbia, SC.
